Do you think Canberra could do with its own online Indymedia Center?

Would you like to get involved in setting up a Canberra IMC?

Would you like to contribute your views as well as keeping informed of
local, national and global issues?

Indymedia (IMC) was initiated by a range of collectives and public access
media organisations in 1999 to provide an alternative to mainstream media
reporting on the WTO protests in Seattle. Indymedia has centers all around
the globe including Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Based on the premise that 'everyone is a journalist, everyone is a
witness', Indymedia centers operate through the participation of activists
and independent media makers.

If you are interested in getting involved and /or would like to offer your
support for the development of a Canberra Indymedia please email Tracey at
tracey.benson at anu.edu.au

Let's make it happen!!!

telling the truth is a revolutionary act" George Orwell
