::fc-announce:: British Council Australia 2005 Realise Your Dream Award

If you're 18 - 26, ambitious and creative, here's a great opportunity. 
British Council Australia has launched their 2005 Realise Your Dream 
Award, which will see six winners go to the UK on personally tailored 
professional development trips. Thanks to support from The Mordant 
Family, this year one of the Awards is specifically for visual artists. 
Applications open April 19 and close July 8 2005. All the details on 
how to apply are on www.realiseyourdream.org.au



Previous winners include NSW furniture designer Ben Mc Carthy who is 
working in London with Tom Dixon; NSW interactive tv designer, Karen 
Wong who has been working with BBCi and BSkyB tv channels; and Vic 
accessories designer, Phoebe Montague who has been working with rising 
fashion star, Jean-Pierre Braganza on his London Fashion Week show and 
with the it girl of jewellery and accessory design, Lara Bohinc.



The programme is supported by National Australia Bank, Stamford Hotels 
and Resorts, British Airways, Mordant Family and Triple J.
