Gary Genosko is in Oz as a visiting prof at UNSW, and will be in Melbourne giving a number of seminars next month. He has published widely on semiotics, Jean Baudrillard, Felix Guattari, and related matters.

Here's the itinerary from Gary-

I would come to Melbourne from Wednesday to
> Saturday 24-27 May. I could give a Friday night architecture (RMIT) talk on
> the 26th, which would be called "Subjectivity between Art and
> Ecology." ON the Wednesday afternoon I would be pleased to offer a
> seminar on "Transdisciplinary Metamethodology" at UMelb (re Felicity)
> in which we could discuss in depth my paper on this subject from
> Angelaki. For the folks at Monash (re: Anna) i would offer on Thursday
> a seminar on "TRois Milliards de Pervers" a new essay on the
> controversial issue of Recherches from 1973 for which Guattari was
> fined and all copies ordered destroyed by the court. See Issue 11 of
> Rhizomes online rhizomes.net.
