/// Coming up in 2005
A monthly calendar of public programs: Philosophy and Film, Philosophy
and Architecture and the MSCP Seminar Series. Watch the website for
details.

/// Remembering Derrida
Last Thursday's Remembering Derrida evening gave plenty of Derrida
readers the opportunity to share their experiences, memories and love
for the work. Seeing Derrida walking down the street in an endless DVD
loop - complete with pipe - provided an appropriate backdrop for what
became an evening of intimate disclosures. Many thanks to Juliet Rogers
and the other organisers and speakers. The documentary may be screened
again for discussion in 2005 as part of the Philosophy and Film monthly
program.

January 24 - February 18

SPECIAL CAPPED RATE FOR FIVE OR MORE COURSES

In contrast to other years and supplementary to the regular programme of
courses, the MSCP will begin to offer a number of beginners' classes
this summer. While all MSCP courses aim to provide all the necessary
groundwork themselves for the study of the philosopher or theme in
question, these classes (indicated below with a *) are devoted to
presenting material for those with little or no grounding in the area.
The MSCP will also be running the first of a six seminar history of
Western thought.

The specific times and venues for the MSCP classes will be posted on
this website soon - all classes will be held at the Parkville Campus of
the University of Melbourne, 15 minutes from the Melbourne CBD.
