Hi,
I'd like to post to the list a mention of an upcoming talk I am giving about 
my new book, titled "Violent Democracy," just published by Cambridge 
University Press. The book is an attempt, among other things, to 
present ideas from continental philosophy in a manner more 
accessible than usual to an audience interested in Australian and 
global politics. The talk is to be held on 15 December at the New 
International Bookshop forum, Trades Hall Council, Melbourne.
