Since
Indonesia stepped into Papua land, commencing from the Triple
Command of People, December 19, 1961, West Papua as a people and
as a country have been covered by the "cloud of danger"
that covers intimidation, infiltration, threat to murder,
disappearance, rape, torture, arbitraty arrest, imprisonment
without trial, food poisoning, systematic social-negineering, and
massacres.
Many
disappeared, no one know whether they are alive or dead.
After
independence movement in West Papua becomes more open and
transparent in the last two years (1999-now), Indonesia is now
using what the Jayapura Biship of Catholic Church calls "politics
of netting or fishing", which means Indonesia is now
letting veryone to speak for freedom and independence. But at the
same time they are waiting "fish" to enter their
"net" (people that are dangerous to Indonesia as
acountry). And when the "fish" is full in the net,
Indonesia (fisherman) is going to take the net out (arrest) the
Papuans.
