To be present in
this world means swimming on the ocean of problems. And
those problems will never end. And even if it ends, it will
never fade away from you. As we live in this world right
now.
Also, this world
does not have answers for you. What she has is a line of
questions. Dan unfortunately, we that were born into this
world are asked to answer them.
As that is humanitarian task,
that is, Yu and me, to solve those problems, and to answer
these questions.
But please do not have a single
dream, that by solving one problem, and by answering one
question, therefore that question, and this problem are
gone. Don’t do this! As one solution, one answer, should,
certainly, automatically even will produce the next problem
and questions. And the circle goes on, and on, and on, just
like your earth circles the orbit.
Surely, living in this
world means living in the middle, within, above, below, and
as the problems and questions, and not on the contrary. We
should not make any mistake here!
But we are humans; we
cannot surrender to that point. We have brains, thoughts,
and feelings. We have complete armaments to face and survive
within those problems and these questions.
In celebrating the
independence day of Timor Lorosa’e, together with all
Melanesians in the Eastern Half of Timor Island, we have
confidence, and victory is ours, that truth is the truth,
and that the truth always proves itself as the absolute
truth, never loose.
This first country
in the new millennium gives hope to all Melanesians and all
humans; That colonialism will end and must end. That
democracy, law and order, and human rights will and must
win. But do not make a mistake here! Victory is not yours,
it is God’s, Your Creator and Protector! Go will and is
always with you and me, in
Making those problems
and questions not as obstacles, but rather stepping stones,
to move forward, and walk on…;
In defending human
rights, democracy, and supremacy of law and order, that is,
the absolute truth, lasting peace, unconditional love for
Melanesian nations, if not for our planet earth. At least
most probably so!
